If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull
Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

You misunderstood me. I was referring to approval eligibility, of course bonus is 48 months in between.
Well, that's not what you wrote, so there's that. And if you really were referring to approval eligibility then you're STILL wrong. Her approval odds for CSP are 0% until 2021. Her approval odds for CSR are 0% until 2021.
Newbie here - we are taking a trip to Greece from US in October and haven't booked trip yet but would like to soon. We'd like to get this bonus and use toward the Greece trip but it sounds like it could be 2-3 months before we get the bonus and we'd like to book the trip before then. Is there any way to use the points prior to receiving them or can you use them retroactively against a trip that's already been purchased? Thanks in advance

No, you can't.
You first need to spend 4K n then you ll get the bonus points in the next cycle. Can't do retro.
Each year?!?!?!! That's not just the first year?!?! So basically if you take out the 450-300 your looking at 150 annual fee for the reserve? Iam coming on my 48 month on the sapphire soon. I only had the preferred before. I easily spend more than 300 for travels alone. I wonder if the reserve will better serve me. Hmmmmm

Sapphire doesn't let you apply points retroactively. Cards like Capital One Venture do.
I have chse Freedom card and it's not 24 months yet. I'm trying to get freedom unlimited but customer care is saying that I'm not eligible before 24 months. My question is I have Chase freedom and not had unlimited, is customer care stated correct.

I didn't apply for unlimited yet, but the customer care told me this I might not be eligible. I called again other customer rep asked me give try. I thought freedom vs freedom unlimited or separate cards.

Oh... unless you're over 5/24 that's nonsense.... freedom and freedom unlimited are separate cards- there's nothing like the "sapphire" restriction in place on the different freedom cards.

Is the $4000 spending requirement restricted to certain categories? Can it be spent on business expenses, mortgage payments, or utility bills etc.?
Do you know why we see credit cards listed on credit report of authorized users ? I had closed my sapphire account in 2017 and I just checked and my spouse account also shows same account even though she was just merely an authorized card user.

Accounts still show on credit reports for authorized users. It stays on there even when they're removed as an authorized user or the card is closed.
When you add someone as an authorized user, they're not just a user. If the cardholder misses a payment or maxes out their card, the authorized user's credit could be negatively affected.

Chase doesn't care what you spend money on
