If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull

Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc

I usually pay all monthly bills with my card, (approx $1600 a month) but I pay this balance off by the end of the month.
So at the start of the month I'm back down to zero. Still though, $1600 over 3 months will equal $4800.
Will I get the points if I have paid off that $4800 by then end of the 3 months?
Did you guys see the same thing? It says: spend 5K in 3 months.
That is not an easy spend for this time of the year
No- credit card rewards are considered rebates, not taxable income, since they require you spending money.
Referral bonuses sometimes get a 1099 though since don't require YOU to spend anything.
Hmm, I just got a mailer with activation code for 70k point bonus. Just signed up for the 60k bonus within the last month. I'll at least give them a call and see if there's a way.

Ink Preferred gives you $800 (if you take the lower cash value of the points instead of using em for travel)
Buncha other cards give you $500 for bit lower spend ($3000 instead of $4000) and without the $99 annual fee- like the Ink Cash, Ink Unlimited
