Sprint reached out and tells us that the link in the OP is outdated and this one https://community.sprin t.com/t5/E...-p/1033393 is the newer, corrected one.
I didn't want to edit the OP but if the OP wanted to edit to have this link.. that would be great.

Looks like there aren't any major benefits by switching to $30 plan, as I think PIE is unlimited data, text, calling, but after conversion I will get 50gb hotspot.
The alternative is $55 plan which is $5 more, converting talk to unlimited(I barely use 60 min/month) and gives me Tidal, prime and 100gb hotspot.
On another note, I've had an airave put away in my storage for years, any benefit with that any more compared to being connected to WiFi(calling)?

I switched to SWAC last month and after reading subsequent posts, I've had no regrets with the conversion. The process was seamless and, in addition, I now have phone/data coverage in Mexico/Canada (I currently volunteer with a non-profit that operates medical clinics in Baja California, MX so this is a big plus for me), as well as a 50gb hotspot and Hulu and Tidal Premium, all for $20 less/month. In the end, it was a pretty easy choice and I'm very pleased with the result. Nice to see that Sprint remembered we "old timers", that hung in there with SERO and it's various iterations, over the years. Good luck.
BTW, if you choose to convert your SERO plan and intend to take advantage of the SWAC plan's "International Roaming", which is included, you will have to call Sprint and have it enabled on your account, as it isn't done automatically through the conversion process. When questioned, Sprint directed me to call their "Sprint Worldwide" department, at 888-226-7212 Option 3 and they were able to easily enable the International Roaming feature.
I just submitted an email to the CEO as well as filled out the option 1 from the website in OP link.
Been with Sprint since 2000. Sero for a good long portion of it. 2 lines. asked for one Premium and one Plus.
Thanks again,
J

Thanks for info!
Question regarding your service in Mexico. I've been getting charged every single month for the last year and a half for texts sent/received with my gf who is from Mexico. This only happens when they don't go through as iMessages. I was always under the assumption that I shouldn't be getting charged for texts with a Mexico number but have yet to get a solid answer from sprint.

When does your billing cycle end? Mine is the end of March & hoping they switch it soon.
Might just email the CEO to speed up the process. Also want to take advantage of the free line offer for SWAC accounts before it's too late.
I know we can't do that for our free Hulu subscriptions, but I'm hoping it's different for Prime since that's normally a separate charge on the bill anyway.
Further info: https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/se...prime.html
Before doing the process below, I'd first recommend you confirm your Sprint plan was successfully converted prior to enrollment.
How do I sign up for Amazon Prime offered by Sprint?
Visit www.sprint.com/amazonprime, call 1-(800)-SPRINT1 or go to your nearest Sprint store. After adding Prime to your Sprint account, you will get a text message with an activation link, where you can complete the registration process. Once you have successfully activated your Prime membership, you can immediately start enjoying all the benefits of Prime. To enhance your Prime experience, you will also be prompted to download the Amazon apps which will allow you to get Prime content on your phone.
Quality of Service (QoS): To help protect against the possibility that unlimited data plan customers that use high volumes of data may occupy an unreasonable share of network resources, Sprint employs network prioritization or QoS on the Sprint network. Customers who choose unlimited data handset plans launched on or after October 16, 2015, or customers who choose to upgrade their handsets or activate new lines of service on or after October 16, 2015, and are on unlimited data plans, that use more than 50GB (35GB for Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile) of data during a single billing cycle (the QoS Threshold) will be de-prioritized for the remainder of that billing cycle as compared to other customers at times and places where the availability of network resources is constrained. Affected unlimited data customers will continue to be able to enjoy unlimited amounts of data without the worry of overage charges or hard, full time bandwidth reductions. Customers subject to de-prioritization may experience reduced throughput and increased latency compared to other customers on the constrained site and as compared to their normal experience on the Sprint network. Unlimited customers may also notice temporary changes in the performance of data intensive applications such as streaming video or online gaming when subject to de-prioritization. These temporary reductions in performance will only occur at times and places where capacity is constrained. Performance will return to normal as soon as the resource constraints have been relieved or the customer has relocated to a non-constrained location. Unlimited data customers potentially subject to lower QoS will be notified when their individual data usage reaches approximately 75% of the QoS Threshold so that they may modify their usage to avoid network management practices that may result in slower data speeds. We will also notify customers when they have reached the QoS Threshold and are now subject to de-prioritization.

"Premium Can/Mex up to 10GB $0.00/mo
In addition to all benefits of Sprint Global Roaming, your Premium International Experience includes at no additional charge International Long Distance calling from U.S. to Mexico & Canada, as well as free calling, texting, and high-speed international data while roaming in Canada and Mexico."
That doesn't, specifically, address texts TO Mexico, but, Sprint Worldwide, at 888-226-7212, might be able to answer that question.
