If you have even rudimentary soldering skill, you can pretty easily turn this thing into a full-fledged 3.5inch HDD adapter, if you're willing to open it up. (I consider myself having.... sub-rudimentary soldering skill and I still did it.)
The board has the sata-power 12vdc pins in place, but not hooked up to anything (obviously).
