But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.

I see. Do you know which bureau they used? I would like to only unfreeze the one they use if possible.
So a few weeks ago, I opened up an HSBC checking account to qualify for the $200 bonus. Has anyone confirmed with HSBC that you can be eligible for both offers (checking bonus and slickdeals savings), as long as you opened the checking account first? I just don't want my bonus to be invalidated on a technicality!

b.t.w. if you do have other accounts requiring a certain number of monthly debit card transactions, I use the method in this youtube video. It has no fees, no commissions. Debit from your account and deposit into YOUR same or different account!
