But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.

I will say this has been the biggest PITA rebate ever. Nothing wrong with SD, but HSBC is freaking terrible. I was approved instantly and they did my opening deposit transfer instantly as well. All was good for three days only for HSBC to lock down my account because of the need to verify my identity. The problem is no one ever told me. I only found out after I went to see if my mobile check deposit went through. And even though I did everything they asked of me, I still had no access to my account. I got fed up with spending hours on hold and getting transferred from one rep to another...I finally filed a complaint with the CFPB. After the initial 15 day period, the time banks should respond, HSBC responded that they need more time and up to 60 days to figure out my issue. So I'm still waiting on their reply so I can access my money. If I average out the time I spent trying to get access to my money with HSBC, I'm averaging like $5 an hour. Needless to say, never touching anything HSBC related ever again.

I did this for both my girlfriend and i and paid out both to same paypal account. Had trouble receiving the second one but they were good with replying.
I'm cancelling my HSBC however b/c i think their security is shit. Did any1 notice that their 2-factor authentication is login using either the mobile security code OR password, and not both?? I don't think they understand what 2-factor means.
