Still haven't gotten the $150 Slickdeals rebate from the AMEX card deal from a month back...
Vanguard money market is about 2.49% or so currently. Places like Cit bank is around 2.45%. Other places have 2.3-2.4%ish accounts. Purepoint has a no-penalty CD at 2.6%

But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.

As always, SD glazes right over my response as if it doesn't even exist. Don't want to take me or the money owed to me seriously? Maybe when you're talking to my lawyer and your site shuts down, you will.

EDIT: Got a third email response that it should be paid 'by early next week', but we'll see. I'll stand down for the moment and see how this plays out with a nice bowl of popcorn. Should be fun.

I opened my account on 7/10 and sent it to the SD email address same day. Got a confirmation back from SD on 7/16. I'm over the 60 day mark and haven't seen the bonus come yet. Sent a follow up to SD via email on 9/13, no response yet. Appreciate if an update can be provided

Is there any penalty for closing the account? I'm disgusted by how awful HSBC's website user experience is. It's too frustrating to try to navigate and I want out.
