It feels weird being able to purchase one in California while other states are prohibited. That's an odd turn of the tables.
Looks like Amazon won't ship this to NY. Must be that whopping 1.4 inch blade. Might have been that last mass killing with an xacto knife that left 30 dead.
any kershaw for <$10 is a super deal. This is nice because people won't freak out when you pull out a 3" knife to open a box or cut a zip tie.

Seems like a niche knife. I'm either going to love it or hate it. Generally I don't like pocket knives, prefer them clipped on my pocket and out of the way.
But, my experience with pocket knives is mostly when I lose the clip and my clip knife becomes a pocket knife. Those are always larger than this, so maybe I won't mind it?
In for one with slow ship credit so we shall see!

It is amusing that people will become alarmed at a 3" pocket knife (unless it has bright red scales) but then are completely fine if you use a 10" kitchen knife.

I think a good pocket knife to use among the knife-phobes is the Opinel since they look like a folding steak knife:

For $6, I'd rather use this Kershaw over my utility knife for breaking down boxes.

Nice looking design but this thing is tiny, small handle and only 1.4" blade. If it had a little bigger handle I'd get one. I like the Kershaw Clash, it's an excellent inexpensive edc/work knife.

I agree for boxes and this Kershaw would also be good for removing box staples. My only concern is controlling this knife with the small handle. If it had a larger handle it would be like a heavy duty utility knife and I'd get one.

This thing is great for hanging on your keychain to open all the amazon packages you get if you're like me. It is really small and I wouldn't trust it for hard work due to the design of the liner lock. It holds a great edge and has a nice belly for zipping through packing tape.

I think amazon is refusing to sell it to certain states, not because of the blade length, but because of the quick release feature.

Pretty dumb. wanted to order one. Oh well.

The upswept blade would be good for some vegetable chopping out in the field for a small meal. I wouldn't use it to feed my whole crew, but in a pinch, it could serve double duty.
