You can get the 1050ti version at best buy which is similar to the 1060 for $140 more.

Or you can go open box excellent for $70, which is IMHO worth it if you're on a budget.

Edit: my mistake, they're not that close. But could be a considerable bump in power

1050ti is not similar to 1060. 1060 is about 80% faster.

1050 ti is nowhere close to a 1060.

Even my 1060 Max-q came in at 38.3% faster than a stock 1050 Ti. You can overclock both cards but you'll still have at least a 38%+ difference.

Mind you this was only on a benchmark, games that require more VRAM or memory bandwidth can change results.Such as the Graphics test 2 on Firestrike where the difference was 40%+.

yes and yes total RAM 32GB, - if you slap an SSD and 16/32gb of ram into this thing its a SWEET machine

also regardless of the video card 1050/1060 even with no video card this is an amazing deal

I'm kind of interested in the Y530 since it has a pretty decent sRGB rating for photo editing. What's giving me pause is the fact that it has the cooling fans on the bottom; would it be a problem to use this machine on my lap if I was doing general web browsing and light duty photo editing, or would it overheat/run hot? Would a refurbished Dell XPS 15 be a better option for me since it's not geared for gaming? I don't really need the latest and greatest powerhouse for my needs, just a nice display with decent keyboard and trackpad.
