Bought this set last month when it was on sale for the same price. I'm using it as a PC monitor; for what I do it's fine, but if you're searching for something to do photo or video editing with, keep looking - the brightness drops off at very slight angles. Also, the current firmware doesn't deal very well with the computer shutting the screen off - for the first 15 minutes or so, it displays 'No Signal' when you can still wake it up, then it goes into some weird mode where it won't respond to the screen waking up, you have to reselect the input or turn it off and on. After that it shuts off and you need to turn it back on manually.
