Two replies and you still failed to answer the question, which BTW was not answered in the original post. Who deserves the facepalm now?

After renting a title you have 30 days to start it and then a 48 hour viewing period.

If you all have a Roku you can earn a free $4.99 rental code via a Discover ad too. The wiki has instructions for easily finding it.
