If you can get past the fact that this is a previous-gen CPU and that you'll have to jump through the hoops of a rebate, this is a great deal. I've never had a Slickdeals rebate denied. One time I got a rejection letter...messaged the mods and it was approved within hours.

Even if this has a previous generation CPU, it is still faster than the 15W 8th Gen Quad Core CPUs (i5-8250U, i5-8265U, i7-8550U and i7-8565U) because of its 45W TDP and this is still one of the most powerful CPU available to a 2-in-1 360 degree device. I own this model with 512GB SSD and use it everyday. It is pretty solid for Editing and encoding workload and moderate gaming. The 4K display is very good and one of the best for Media Consumption. The Thunderbolt 3 port is 2 lane and not so good for adding external GPU but pretty solid if you want to connect to multiple Monitors and add tons of peripherals.

That was the other deal . This goes to $825 pre-tax with the 50yoga50 code . the other deal was with the yoga700 code + slickdeals rebate . so not only do you not need the rebate with this code and have to deal with that hassle, but it also beats the other deal by $25 altogether

This is a different promo for same laptop . Use "50YOGA50" to drop price to $825


The other promo was "yoga700" + sd rebate = $850

Can handle something like streaming League on twitch and video/photo-editing ?

I do have this Laptop and with 40% brightness and Power Mode set to balance, for normal Web Browsing, YouTube streaming, it goes around 7 hours. I think you can push it higher if you reduce the brightness a bit more.

Actually at this price, this is one of the best deal. You will not find any single Ultrabook or Laptop, forget 2-in-1 devices, which has this kind of configuration; having 45W TDP CPU, dedicated powerful Graphics (non MX150/MX250), 4K IPS Touch Display with WACOM Pen Support, Thunderbolt 3 and upgradable Ram and storage. Also, this one has a pretty big battery compared to some of the Gaming Laptops like Dell G3 and G5 series.
