Looks pretty cool. Watched some videos on YouTube and people even after a year are getting devices still discovered... Patience seems to be the key to being happy with it.
I've had mine installed for 4 days. It has identified 10 items in that time. The Sense device samples your power draw 1 million times a second! It's pretty cool to walk around flipping switches and seeing the power draw change in real time! . I think this thing is pretty awesome!

Cool I'm going to try it, did the Amazon with $50 coupon. I have a main panel outside right next to my electric meter, then 1 inside my garage (most circuits here) & 1 outside by my pool equipment. Assuming I'd put it on the outside box by the outside electric meter. I took a look in that 1 and noticed a breaker for something "Jenn-Air Patio" and I do not have any Jenn-Air devices in the patio so assuming that is old and I can just use that for the Sense.
Or maybe safer to combine the wires and leave that Patio one.

The Sense unit should be installed in the main panel, closest to the meter. Sub-panels are typically fed (downstream) from this panel.
I didn't have space for a dedicated dual-pole breaker, so I pig-tailed it into the electric dryer breaker.
If you don't know (exactly) what you are doing, call an electrician. There is potential for great bodily harm, including death, when working in a distribution panel.
I have this and I highly recommend it. I don't care much for identifying devices. The fact that I can see my current usage in real time. Turning a switch on or off shows instant results. I've had it about 4 months and it has paid for itself in energy savings.

Exactly. There is no other device that I am aware of that offers this level of real-time resolution and reporting. Instant and accurate results!
The device recognition is icing on the cake. It is a work in progress, and will likely require some user interaction and detective work.
