Saw a new sign at Walmart that looks pretty interesting. There's no dates on it, and I can't find any info on the deal anywhere which tells me that someone probably screwed up and put the sign out too soon....but anyway.
Seems like a pretty good deal for AT&T network:
$50/mo. but $40 with autopay:
- UNL Talk & Text
- 25GB High Speed Data then 2G
- Hotspot included
- Mexico and Canada roaming included
2 lines would be $70, 3 lines would be $100, 4 lines would be $120, and 5 lines would be $140.
Looks like this deal is only at Walmart - everywhere else has 16GB data offer and it requires autopay. This offer looks like it doesn't require auto-pay.

She did mention they are having issues with the promotion and said the Walmart phone is no longer needed after the promotion is applied. Now, could it be true? Who knows....
At least it sounds like they are aware of the issues going on? One can only hope.
I mean like 300GB, or just real unlimited after a while, things like that.
5G has enough bandwidth they are going to pronote it for home internet use, which average home uses 190GB/month...
BTW I'm not sure who uses this much data. I'd say I can get by on 3GB/month and I'm a heavy phone user. I'm on 8GB Mint Mobile (love the hotspot and blazing 96mbps speed, unfortunately coverage is less than perfect for me) and I dont even come close to using 8GB, maybe 4-5GB tops...
People who use a lot of internet annoy me because they're most likely doing something nefarious (like in home user case, I trapped one guy whining about data caps into admitting he torrents entire seasons of HD pirated anime 24/7 (which is basically the only way to use up some of these caps) but doesn't actually watch them, just wants to have them). That said, I can see one exception to use a lot of phone data, if you ran a hotspot while driving for several kids in the backseat to watch YT on devices, and you drive a lot.

I escalated my call to a manager who assured my I will be getting the Walmart promotion. She said the IMEI only matters during activation. They are experiencing delays apparently.
I don't know what to believe anymore
