Epic Games Store has Far Cry Primal, Ghost Recon Wildlands, and Watch Dogs 2 for $14.99 each. Their $10-off "Epic Sale" brings each down to $4.99.

Probably because they're paying for exclusivity, which is keeping games off platforms people tend to prefer. And it's not just sour grapes, because those platforms are fully featured, while Epic Games Store lacks basic functionality like the ability to search or put games in a shopping cart.

Epic Games Store is great for devs because they get moneyhatted on top of a higher percentage of the profit, but consumers aren't happy because the software itself is subpar.

Once downloaded and installed in EG upon launch it will start Uplay which re-downloads the whole game to a separate directory, taking up twice the space. I deleted the Epic install after and it's playing without issue in Uplay. Just FYI.

Link your account with uplay and then dont even bother downlading on epic, just download directly from uplay, my two friends who downloaded from epic went through nightmares to get the game installed, one of them had to just say screw it and redownload from uplay, once you link your account you wont need the epic launcher at all for this game

Far Cry Primal is a great game. If you like Far Cry 5's hunting/stealth/taming mechanics, it's better in Primal. Totally worth $5.

What if I have a saved progress from the wildlands demo on Uplay? Does the game launch from EGS or from Uplay?

Didn't think Ubisoft games would be offered on Epic straight up so I'm surprised.

Even with friends, Wildlands gets really repetitive really quick. It's cool that the map is so big and varied, but all of the missions are variations on the same few objectives. You can probably get $5 out of it for sure but I wouldn't expect anything super amazing.
