I have been patiently waiting for this to go back to the black friday price and it finally did.
This is a great active deterrence camera system. This system comes with a 4 TB drive and has upgraded functionality compared to the other models.

Mixed reviews in Costco, I took my last set back ($699.00 with 6 k4 cameras) , not good enough night vision, has this improved the night vision capability?

I know the reviews are mixed but I have installed this system before at my in laws house and it is phenomenal. I did use a little diy knowledge to make the installation look more professional. Also this is a rebranded dahua system and I am planning to use the video doorbell from them that I purchased on ebay and plug it into this system as well.

I see a lot of people in the reviews are complaining about image and low light quality. My in laws system was phenomenal in both respects. I suspect some people have left the clear film on the lens and not taken it off when they install it. It is very clear and fits perfectly over the lens.

The instructions of installing are pretty bad so you should be a little handy to get it right. You can check out ipcamtalk.com and lots of helpful people will give you some advice about the system. Also lots of videos on youtube on installation and use.

Just bit the bullet, tired of having packages stolen. Hopefully this will hold up in the AZ heat!

Waiting for Matt as well. I've been waiting for a 16 channel and am ready to pull the trigger if he says good deal.

Went in and saw theybhave a new system. 8 channel 8 camera for 799. Can't find much info on it besides lorex site. N841 NVR, it's similiar to this, cept it has a panic button with 8 E891AB cameras. Same active deterence type, siren/LEDs. Cameras are much larger. Anyone got info on them on their dahua counterpart?

System model number: TN81828B8-E
