As this deal is a part of the Costco 12 days of deals I wanted to fill out some more data on it for the purposes to add it to the master list thread and make this information easier to search and find in the future when comparing deals.
My take on the kit:
FYI - WiFi version of this camera

NVR: LNR6164T ( LNR600X series of models, 16 = channels / ports thus 616, .. not certain what the 4 and T mean in the model number )
LNB8105X camera:
Heat Rating: 122°F | 50°C
Cold Rating: -22°F | -30°C
Water Rating: IP66
I think that may be possible - probably would just have to update the firmware on the NVR I would hope.
Members at ipcamtalk are waiting to get their hands on the Dahua OEM version of the camera to test it. ( Andy the recommended vendor just got a sample in ).
Once this gets figured out, you should be able to augment your NVR with a couple of these AD cameras.
I do not expect these cameras to be as good for quality of image capture as the Lorex cameras which came out this last year. We'll see soon I hope when someone can do a complete review and head to head comparison. ( at this time I feel a lot of the bells and whistles which consumers want on cameras are not really worth as much as they imagine )

That's great news. Thanks.
Questions:
1. How is the Lorex Software/APP vs say ARLO? IMPORT FOR WIFE APPROVAL
2. Will this kit support the new Dhaua 8MP cameras if you decided to add in the future? (Greater ID Distance)
Good deal.
I like the IVS features, but many people are OK without it.
I have not seen these in the couple of stores I have been to.
You'd have to buy it online - not certain if you'd get it in time.

Problem is that many people really do not know what is critically important in a security camera system and end up buying something "pretty" and mounting the cameras too high so they "look better there" instead of mounting them where the cameras view "looks better".
In general the Cloud service apps are nicer - because that is how they get you to continue to pay monthly fees... with pretty apps, and less useful image captures.
This kit meets the minimum viable product requirements for a security camera system.
Arlo does not.
Ring does not.
Nest does not. (*)
If you want to augment this kit with a cloud camera - say covering your front porch in addition to one of the IP POE cameras - that would be useful for many.
Think of it this way,
How many vehicles do you have? use? lease?
A car? a truck? a SUV? a motorbike? a bicycle? - each is different and fulfills some roles better than others, an if you can you probably own / lease or rent or use different ones for different jobs / task.
Same applies for security camera systems and cloud "security cameras" ( I use quotes since the marketers of cloud cameras really are lying in the fit for purpose of being a security camera - yes, they are cameras - but as noted they fail when tested on the MVP requirements of the product category. )

You can compare it to the bullet model
LNB8921BW
Heat Rating: 140°F | 60°C
Cold Rating: -22°F | -30°C
Water Rating: IP67
This model is rated better on heat and water
( here's the data for the cameras in this kit )
LNB8105X camera:
Heat Rating: 122°F | 50°C
Cold Rating: -22°F | -30°C
Water Rating: IP66
Update:
Since I was recently looking at the Ring Stick Up wired cameras - here's an example of the specs from Ring:
"Stick Up Cam Wired is weather-resistant with an IP rating of IPX5. It was designed to work at temperatures ranging from -5 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 48.5 degrees Celsius)"
So you can clearly see how the value and quality differences between some of the consumer cloud camera products.
( IP66/IP67 significantly better than IPx5.. surprised Ring didn't explain what the x value is for their product )
Is this kit better than the q-see that was on sale before?

These cameras are 5mp but on the Lorex are 8 mp?
Just not sure now if to get this Lorex kit lol

Which kit would you recommend with IVS features? Looks like most kits on sale have no IVS or some very basic features.
Thanks for your input.

Montavue had some nicer kits which are Dahua OEM and retain the IVS features.
There's a thread on a couple of kits that were on sale. You'd have to check and see what deals they may still have going on.
( I've posted links in the master list to various deals - look under the wired IP POE section or google montavue security camera https://slickdeals.net/f/12200566-security-camera-security-camera-system-black-friday-cyber-week-2018-master-list )
Otherwise there's a recommended vendor on ipcamtalk that many of us have bought from that sells Dahua OEM IP POE NVRs and cameras.
Also, Nelly's Security iirc has the Hikvision OEM products which may include IVS ( or the equivalent term Hikvision is using ).
( link to Nelly's also in the master list - I think most of their deals have expired though )

Get what you can afford, if you can afford more - that typically will give you a better kit in some way. ( and sometimes in some ways you'll lose something )
In this case:
Lorex NVR in this deal is 16 channel NVR - more POE ports, more processing power. NO IVS features. + Lorex
Q-see NVR retains IVS ( IVA functionality ) + Q-see
I'm not a big fan of the AD camera's form factor, I really dislike the cable being exposed. I also dislike very wide FOV cameras - the wider it is the closer it needs to be to suspects for IDing chances - and that also means the lower you need to install the cameras, unless you like to ID bald spots...
A lot of people seem to be sold on chit-chatting with intruders.. must be some Kalifornia thing? ( Ring is a California company and does the Ex-Laker ad with their "Ring Chit Chat with intruders" but mount your cameras far too high. )
Note - the Q-see kit should include the IVS functions ( IVA is what Q-see calls them ), while the Lorex products have stripped these from their IP cameras and NVRs.
I do like the Costco return policy - so good to see a couple of options from them.
If you have a larger house / property I would eventually plan to have more than 4 cameras.
If you have a modest home - then you can always add a Dahua OEM camera or 2 to the Q-see kit. ( remember, it will not be plug and play - you'd need to configure IP, port, user/passwords )
Remember doing a good job cabling and placing the cameras is the most important thing you can do right now.
The "AD" cameras are IP POE cameras and should be using some IP standards for the voice - I'm guessing VoIP, so in theory - yes a firmware upgrade should be able add those features to the recent NVRs Lorex / Dahua sold, especially the ones like your's which is a more powerful model.
That's the theory - we'll see what actually happens. So a lot of us are waiting to see the results of testing on ipcamtalk.
Remember, while the marketing on these "Active Deterrence" " Active Defense" "Active Chit Chat" cameras are really good - they are all fairly new and we've yet to see how practical they are.
