How does this compare to the Moto E also from QVC? This looks like a better deal. Does it have a removable battery?

I'd only consider this if I got to choose what network it ran on. It'd be a fine glovebox phone for emergencies at $5/mo if I could force it to be on Verizon or maybe AT&T.

I need to do my annual TF upgrade/renewal by the end of next month. There have been a handful of phone deals lately at HSN or QVC, but I'm having a hard time getting a sense of which phone is the best in the sub-$100, 16 GB category. There's this one, the Rebel 4, and also the Moto e5 and the LG Premier Pro, for example. Anyone have suggestions and why or why not for said phones (or other options)?

TF hasn't offered triple minutes for more than a year, your minutes will transfer but you will not continue to get triple minutes. Check out the current prices for service, triple minutes really isn't a big deal - in fact a year of service with 1200/1200/3gb data is only $50 from the TF store on eBay (that's even cheaper than the triple minute plans).

That's for new activation only (not for existing account), because the "1200/1200/3gb data" is SIM pre-loaded.
