I got a similar pergola where people complaining about rusting almost immediately. I sprayed it with a clear sealing coat and it's held up rust-free for 3 years so far.

Too many complaints about rust and that's even from "Sweepstakes" entries which are normally very positive. Stay away!

I paid $599 a few months back for this. It is sturdy and has held up well to some high winds. Definitely need two people to assemble..

Any feedback how long the cover will last in the sun and rain exposed to the elements?

For anyone that already has this, can this be bolted onto a composite deck? Thanks

I would, if you're in a place that gets a decent amount of snow.

I checked the reviews, the legs are hollow, so if you're in a high-wind area, might want to figure out how to weigh it down; I saw two options; one person put bricks in the hollow legs, another put planters with River Rock around the leg.

Looks nice for the price, especially when combined with a 10% off eBay coupon and some staples $100 Lowe's gift cards for $90. But after reading some of the reviews, it sounds like it's virtually guaranteed to rust. For something that's meant to be installed outdoors, to be made of poorly coated carbon steel is inexcusable. At the very least this should be made of galvanized steel, aluminum or fully powder coated steel, especially at the original asking price of $700. Still giving the op a thumbs up for the find.

OP, here is another canopy/gazebo deal to add. 50% off ($750) at my local store in CT so YMMV.

I have pavers in my backyard, how can this he secured into the patio?
Should I take some pavers out and make a cement foundation and then screw legs into it?
