    I went to the store instead of ordering online first. I sat in one rocker and it made a cracking noise every time I rocked back. I pulled out three more rockers and tried them and had that same cracking noise. It was an annoying sound too. Made people look my way when they walked by. I am not that heavy, I am a female who weighs 130 pounds and 58 years old so I wasn't rocking real fast either. I rocked for about 3 minutes or so and felt like I couldn't deal with that at home so I passed. Then I get home and checked the reviews, mostly good ones, but the bad reviews talk about a "popping" noise when you rock. I would rock in them before you take them home and see if you are ok with the noise.

    I stuffed two in my CHR and had to use rope to tie down the trunk. Lol. But they got home- thank you! Super comfy!

    They do make that noise. We've had them for over a year. They just do that but they do last

    wife instantly rejected the rockers as 'ugly' so picked up pair of 'big easys' instead...twice as heavy, spacious, cup holder but not the same sunken seating as the reg adirondack...very pleased..
