Power Delivery is a type of charging tech essentially...it is only available through a usb-c output to whatever other device port on the other end. Ie: USB-c to: Lightning/usbC/switch port/thunderbolt etc. many new devices that require higher wattage have switched the type of port they use to accept charge through to USB-C (updated micro usb essentially, will completely replace soon) which is capable of delivering higher voltage/wattage/amperage. iPhone X/XS maxes out at 18w through usbC-lightning, while say a switch is 45w & a MacBook 60watts. The PD bank/usb brick is designed to output 18w max or day 84w max etc. you choose dependent on your devices power needs (watts) It does downscale to whatever your device can max at. But buying a 60watt PD To charge only an iPhone is gunna cost you more money then your 18w max XS can even take. So you buy a device capable of 18w max while saving money bc a PD 18w vs 60w is wayyyyy cheaper. Hope you grasp a better understanding. Next we can get into Gallium Nitride (GaN) if you would like considering most electronics will be moving in that direction soon! (Google it 😉) oh and yes a 60watt PD laptop trying to charge w/18w PD won't give it enough juice to get er up! Old school status...Try charging a new iPad w/ iPhone brick. It will not suffice it's power consumption while on & under load. Even plugged in she will dieeeee
Bought this on the last deal.. works great, compact and even comes with a usb-c to usb-c cable. The free case was icing on the cake. Happy!

I would rather have 18650 cells vs LiPo batteries. That is where Anker wins IMO.

Why? Is there some concern re: heat or longevity?

One of the Amazon comments suggest that you can't fast charge a Moto phone with it because the turbopower/quick charge 3.0 tech is different. Can someone confirm/deny?

Seems like I'd want to go with something that says qc 3.0

Edit: See posts below, it might actually work on your moto

Damn, had a chance to test it but didn't think about it. All I can confirm is that my Anker 30 watt Type C charger does "TurboPower" charge one of my friend's Moto phones with a Type C port.

If you're still concerned, I could test it in a week or so when I see them again

Now that you mention it, one guy who was a seller I think says it doesn't work. But then another guy posted that it does work on the motos

I dunno. Anker products are some of my favorite to buy because they tend to be quality. But it's nearly double the price in this case, so I'm on the fence

You are correct. Still a round cell that I would rather have over a LiPo.

Its just a preference. But if you want to read up some more, do a google search on 18650 vs Lipos, etc.

Own the larger version of this, the Anker 20100mah 24W PD (A1275Z11), paid $23 on ebay. Works great and highly recommend this brand. Can be found refurbished for around the same price as this one on ebay.

I have a different Anker that is several years old. Holds a charge for months. Really like it.
