Seems like a good deal $380 from $549 (%31%) off for the next 20 hours.

This robot features hybrid mopping and vacuuming and now mapping abilities.

From link:
eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid, Robot Vacuum Cleaner, iPath Laser Navigation, 2-in-1 Sweeping and Mopping, Wi-Fi, 2200Pa Strong Suction, Quiet, Self-Charging Robotic Vacuum, Ideal for Hardwood Floors

It said it was ~4" tall and the one review said the "recommended space for installing the charging station(1.6ft/0.5m to left and right, 4.9ft/1.5m to the front)" but I couldn't find a circumference dimension.

S5 wipes the floor with all vacuums in this price range. (sub $800)

I wouldn't be dropping $400 being the test (unproven yet) when you can constantly get the S5 for this price range. I can't think of anything the S5 could do better. The highest priced roomba(ignoring self dumping) and botvac all clean the same as the S5. So don't expect magic, best case scenario is it's as good as the S5.

Got the RoboRock S5 after lots of research, reviews & price. Was able to get it on Peime Day for $400 & it is awesome. I have carpet, hardwood, & tile floors. I haven't used the mopping feature yet. I also have 2 dogs (Saint Bernard & Lab mix), a rabit, & 4 cats. There were a few features that sold me on it. The fact that it picks up pet hair, that it can climb over the transition parts from room to room, the app, the mapping feature & sensors. I love this little robot vac. So if this one is anything like the S5, it will be awesome.

I'll be the guinea pig and buy this and compare it to my S5 if it comes back in stock. My wife will be thrilled. I've tested the Eufy 11S and Eufy 30 and was impressed with them for the price. I still have the Eufy 30 for my mudroom. Eufy has a good reputation so I have high hopes for the L70. One thing I'm interested in is if this has virtual barrier tape or just virtual no-go zones. Virtual barrier tape is very useful on the S5 and I use that actually more then the no-go zones for my use case so if the L70 doesn't have that then its a deal breaker for me.

The mapping feature is the game changer with this tier of Robovacs. As opposed to randomly crossing the room and hoping to cover each part of the floor, it systematically cleans each section and remembers the layout for future cleanings.

Other robovacs with this feature start at $600, so this is a fairly decent deal for this kind of model.
I have tried every vacuum with mapping none of them have worked Deebot R95 was the worst, I'm now using the eufy 30 works great without the mapping, I also have 2 of the 11c model they also work great.

Have you tried the Roborock S5? It works flawlessly for me with it's mapping.

Would have totally got this if it was one inch shorter. Need to cover some space under the furniture.
Instead I went with the other Eufy Robovac 30 deal.

You can buy inexpensive risers on Amazon for this! I got a few for my couch and they work great.

I did this for my bird cages so that the roborock can fit. Great at cleaning bird seed all day or spreading bird shit all over my carpets depending on the day. Wink

The S5 ratings seem mediocre at best, in the 3-4 star range. TomsGuide says that the S5 is outperformed by cheaper models - https://www.tomsguide.com/us/robo...-6274.html

Tom's guide is about as bias and useless as they come. Don't google crap like "best robot vacuum" and expect not to get crap.

Yikes, dude. Wasn't trying to personally offend you. Just googled the S5 and that was the first review that came up.

I'll check out the video you linked.

Just got it today. Nifty device, but so far a little disappointed, there seems to be an issue with the mapping. It ran for 171 minutes initially before returning to charge, so the run time was nice. That was vacuum only. Then I went to setup no-mop zones to try out the mopping, but the map has been completely wiped out.

it seems to be constantly updating the map on the fly. i wish you could save 'snapshots' of maps, so you can use it on multiple floors for example. another item i wish is the ability recall zones (mop, spot clean, etc) so you dont have to re-draw those barries all the time

Mine arrived yesterday and I ran it through a full floor cleaning. Took 130 min to clean 105 m2. Loving it so far. It went over different carpet/floor types and vents with no issues. Never got caught or stuck. The app is fantastic - easy to map out zones and areas, great scheduling options. Very quiet as well, only tested on "Normal Mode" so far. Really like how the history shows a timelapse of where the L70 ran while it cleaned.

It only saves ones "map", but it should save all your no-go and mopping zones for every run.

I haven't tried the mop mode yet, but it saved my map and zone-edits after I plugged them in. Did you let it finish the whole floor when you ran it? It might have to complete the map before saving.
