On the other hand, this Yoga 730 is the second best Consumer line from Lenovo, after their 900 seriies and in my opinion this is better choice if you are not planning for gaming. The reasons are: -
Way better build quality and Thermals. This is completely made of aluminium alloy, having Back-lit Keyboard and better cooling.
Better security with Fingerprint reader.
2-in-1 Form factor with Active Pen support which makes it very versatile.
Thunderbolt 3 port which is a very rare addition at this price point. You can add external GPU box for gaming or TB3 docks to connect multiple 4K monitors and tons of accessories to replicate a Desktop environment.
The Wi-Fi card on this is way better with 2x2 antennas.

No. Love my yoga 2. It's like a tank. Had a 720 13" for 5 minutes, and it literally broke. A friend uses it now after Lenovo sent it back, still broke.
They sent me a 730 13" instead. The i7 throttles on the 13 inch, not sure about the 15. The construction on the 730 is leaps better than the 720. But it is no way near a thinkpad.

I also signed up for the best buy credit card which notes 10% back in rewards the first day and 5% back afterwards. I don't shop here very often at all, but for $50 it doesn't hurt to keep the card around.
