I found this on brickseek, went to my local Lowe's and picked up three.

Very hard to find though. The employee needed to use a ladder and they were hidden in a box with just a number identifier: 505522

Says Iris hub but instructions say for any z-wave hub.

https://brickseek.com/lowes-inven...ku=4780111

[Edit] I added pictures of the box

[Editx2] I found them above the smoke detectors that were on display. They were high on a shelf. For those trying to find them, try looking up and for the 505522 on the box, maybe?

I think that is why they have so many for so cheap. They are on the top shelf in some box.

To be fair though once I had the 505522 number, we found it in under 60 seconds. We just looked up and saw the labeled box.

How did you find the number? Will it be the same in all stores?

I had them scan the barcode from brickseek. It came up in their inventory program and showed that number. Then employee said the 11 units are probably in a box with the number on it on the top shelf. I found it funny they didn't know where 11 of these units were.

I assume the number is their internal inventory tracking? The item is not on their website so when the service desk looked for it in their inventory, they searched on the website and couldn't find it.

[Edit] I was wrong. It is on their website but I am guessing it doesn't show discontinued items in their search results? Here is it is on the website.

Ah, got it. It is just the item number. I'll try my luck later today. Thanks.

I went looking for it in south Florida; no joy! They had 5 in their in-store inventory. It was NOT by the smoke detectors, the clearance rack, the front of store cage with a lot of the home automation components and 3 store employees could not find them! Well that's enough work for the day! One person claimed that these were part of a "buyback" a few weeks ago so they would no longer be around! I can verify their inventory system did have the number 505522 to identify it as the initial post stated.

Interesting I wonder if the buy back is due to the "requires an Iris Hub" which are defunct now.

Mine were located by the other smoke detectors but top shelf (crane your neck top shelf) with only the side if the box showing with the number in sharpie.

Grabbed what I believe is the last one in Torrance, though it says 4 in stock. Nothing in top stock, checked both areas where I could find smoke detectors as well as clearance.

Bought the last 3 at East Plano on US-75... Said they only had 2 instock. Were actually by the smoke detectors on the shelf. They were tagged normal price at $39.99 but rang up for $15.98.

Very exciting. Feels like a decade since I actually got on a in store deal in the DFW area. Lots of vultures around here.

I got the last three at my Lowe's for $7.99 a piece. They were also in the overhead storage area near the smoke detector display. They were in a box with 50552 written on it.

BS shows 2 in stock. But I found 3 in store. 7.99 each and 5% off.
