CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

2) Does anyone know if you can plant herbs in the same pot? I have chives, basil and parsley so far. I am getting dill and oregano.

3) I am sick to death about hearing about the Miss USA pageant. Annoyed

Thanks! I didn't want to have to buy (and keep the cats out of Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)) several pots.

You just gotta put a mod-chip in it (chip itself costs about $35; then it has to be soldered on, or you can buy a Wii Clip to snap on without soldering, but it's about another $25 and it's more likely to come loose over time, plus I had trouble getting it to snap the way it should so I just had someone solder mine), then you can make back-ups of you games using blank DVDs (or burn back-ups people have already took the time to create for you using torrents Whistling )

Ummm, note, that some find this a little less moral than others may laugh out loud But also note that you have a perfect right to create at least one back-up of each game you own... Smilie

Jenni has been wanting to do it but putting it off. I'm relieved I have it done because with kids, the scratches happen more often than I'd like...
