CVS Info:
First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.
Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing
The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.
Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.
The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

I hope Elizabeth sang him a wonderful song to thank him
And seriously...I don't cry often over good things...but I almost teared up at the sweetness of it. And since the tornado hit here...it's just amazing all the goodness you see out of it. (Here as in my town, not our house). Before the last raindrop fell people were meeting up at churches and schools with chainsaws and trucks to help out. There was a shelter open to all the people who lost their home or who's home wasn't livable at the moment..only four people stayed..that means almost everyone else had someone they could stay with. What I'm loving is...while driving through different areas of town...there are still police cars blocking off neighborhoods because it's so destroyed they don't want people going down there...and other places that are just flattened...businesses, mostly homes...and yet when I talk to people around here and read what people have said, I Don't see people moaning about what they lost. Homes, items, cars, etc...I just keep hearing people say how blessed they were..that they are still alive. It would be easy for these people to just see the bad side...and understandably so, but instead they see the good in it. Everyone is helping everyone here. Those who were more fortunate during the storm are giving/helping those who weren't. It was a horrible thing that happened here but I'm really proud of my town and how we've handled this. I guess it's when things are the worst that you get to see the best in people.
