I grabbed one of these last time it was around this price and it's great. I own a Dremel too and the flex shaft works with it.

I own one. Price usually hovers around the $19.50 range. It has been pretty good to me so far. You have to use it with the included flex shaft to to minimize vibrations. I use it on a workbench, so it's fine for me.
Like dremel only more vibration and low torque
These WEN rotary tools are pretty good. For this price, I think this is definitely worth having around.

I was wondering specifically if I could use the flex shaft for my dremel, so thanks for anwering that. It's cheaper than buying the dremel branded one, and I'd probably just leave this kit at work as an extra

I've had this for a few years, works great, haven't tried to cut metal though. The case sucks.

I have a Dremel 395 and the Wen flex shaft works fine (Dremel flex shaft also work on the Wen). I prefer the Dremel, but the Wen is still decent; worth it.

By the way, Home Depot has it for the same price ($17.84) - and returns are a lot easier at Home Depot. I'm planning to order one as a possible Christmas present, and I can return it to my local Home Depot up until practically Christmas if I change my mind.
