How to word a sign "Closed out of repsect for employee passing" ? No OT please

We're going to be closed during a normal business day due to owner's family member passing and having funeral that day. What's a good wording to put on the entrance?

It was in the title. However, I'm not a baby so I don't cry over internet words.

By the way, rest of the family is still alive so there's no estate sale.

I was waiting tables at a restaurant and the owner put a picture of me with the date it was taken on some of the menus and guests thought it was the day I died. I'd walk up to the table and say hi my name is John, and they thought I was a ghost sometimes.
