There have been a lot of posts on LP gas grill deals. I have been tracking the Natural gas Weber 3 burner grills for a while..... Clearance price started today....... Probably in prep for labor day!! Anyway here goes the deal.......

I was able to get an additional 10% off with Lowes movers coupon brought on fleabay for 1.99$. So $503.37 before taxes. I had the 20% harbor freight coupon, but chickened out at the checkout counter. I got 400$ in Lowes gift cards. Brought from Raise a few days ago.... instead of printing I got it on my phone since I had 16 x 25$ cardsnod I saved $58.29 on the 400$ doing the gift cards!

I wonder why the BTUs is different when they are the same grill.

There is mention of "mocha" version being exclusive to Lowes with the implication that it might be inferior..... but it still has Weber 10 year warranty! Only difference seems to be the BTU....🤔.
I'll add that the list price is 799 vs 699 for Mocha version...

I gave up on grills a few years ago. It doesn't matter what you spend, it will rust and turn to shit. Maybe not if you live in a dry place with a mild winter.

I just buy grills on clearance for cheap now and get 3-4 years out of them and rinse repeat.

I wish you luck with your Weber and it's warranty...but I think my method is better as you work with a newer grill all the time and if it craps out I just buy another instead of dealing with warranty parts and repairs etc.

Also, the last grill I bought that had to be "assembled" was not much more than putting it on the base. That has changed recently also as grills used to be a pain in the ass to assemble.
Just because a grill is new doesn't mean it is a good grill. If you cook more than hot dogs and hamburgers you will quickly learn there is a difference in grill quality.

Never had a problem with warranty and repairs were simple.

Not convenient to have to buy a new grill all the time and might crap out when there are no deals so stuck paying more.

Have you ever owned a weber?

Did the 10% off coupon work? If so I'm surprised as the terms of the coupon usually specifically exclude Weber (among other things)

I don't know how this is a good deal? I got the Weber E-310 LP from Target B&M for $84.99.
Comparing your model to a Genesis is like comparing apples n oranges. Then to top it off mentioning the price you paid which is close to the cheapest in the country which only a handful could get is even more herp derp. Did you come here to brag and get validation?

Wow. He raised a fair question. You can't fault him for Weber's poor numbering. He obviously got the Spirit 310 while this is the Genesis 310. It would helpful if you would explain the differences instead of scolding him.

I've been using the same Ducane LP gas grill for about 18 years. Looks awesome, no rust, and works great. High quality stainless steel and aluminum provide many more years of service than cheap steel, while the higher quality design and quality will provide a better cooking experience...higher, even temps, etc... Ducane was bought by Weber, but I believe Weber provides at least the same quality.

I am with you. I bought a Weber about 3 years ago and one burner is already dead. I also understand they say it's a better grill for food but a flame is a flame. I am now trying out a black stone griddle to see how it does. I am thinking since all the grease does not get the flames it might last longer.

I saw the Weber and clearance exclusion listed on the coupon! But took a shot, it worked and associate probably did an override (I heard the "wrong coupon" beep!!). I previously had luck with 20% off harbor freight coupon as well. The associate was saying that weber don't go on clearance and how good the price was.....
In short ..... If you don't try the coupon you won't know! Worse, they'll say a NO..... I'm not sure how well the reps are trained on coupon acceptance or refusal decisions at Lowes ............

Facepalm! Raised a fair question by comparing a clearance price that's unattainable by most, on a grill that's normal price is nearly 40% cheaper than the Genesis?

Weber's numbering has nothing to do with this

We already established he had a Spirit 310

Comparing features is pointless when the price he paid is unattainable which I already mentioned but you can't seem to understand.

So he made a mistake not knowing his was a Spirit and this is a Genesis. He just went by the number which happens to be the same. But I don't think he was coming in bragging about the price he got for it. He was just trying help others out.
