reviews on this are meh at best. limited functionality and rigid temperature management (pretermined times instead of customizable, no aggregate temps.) will wait for something with better functionality for my 2 nest thermostats.

You'll be waiting a long time.... I have these and your right about the functionality. I currently have them set up so my upstairs is certain temp at night since it tends to be warmer in the bedrooms than at the thermostat. You can't adjust the times they have preset, which is a little later than I would like, but it still uses the pre-cool so it's the correct temp right at the time specified. A lot of people have asked for updates on the nest forums, but it doesn't look like much or anything has changed since their release. You may be better off switching to an eco bee.
