I went into the notifications tab of the Google Play store (click 3 line button in upper left, then click notifications). In there I had an offer for a $1.99 movie rental, $3 off an eBook over $4, and $4 off an eBook over $4.

YMMV of course, but just go check and see what you have. Might be lucky.

I don't get codes often. Over the past couple of weeks I've gotten $3 off $3.01 ebook & $1.99 movie rental codes. So this is possibly a longer term thing & people might want to keep an eye out.

Hi, is this only on the app? I have an iPhone, so can't get the app and can't find the notifications on the desktop site.

Same here. Not sure where to find Notifications in web version of Google Play store. Do not see it in the desktop site as well.

The closest web-based location for offers is in the 'Account' heading in the left margin. The first 'tab' of that screen is the 'Rewards' section which will show you your current offers/rewards.

I would say from my experience that Google Play coupons are YMMV and that they will simultaneously email you an advertisement email when they place a discount in your account. So make sure your contact info is up-to-date, activate those offer emails, and see what shows up.

The directions are specifically for the Google App. I'll go out on a limb here and say that it is for the app only considering I did it in the app.
