Edited to add qualifier.
A few decent turntables do have a basic auto shut-off system that just shuts the motor off when you reach the end of a record, but that's the most "auto" you find these days.
If vinyl continues to be hot for the long term, it will be interesting to see if the automatic features stage a comeback.

Just change the record or turn it off when you're done. 🤷
Not true. I sometimes put on a record and do house chores. But I have a fully automatic quartz locked direct drive technics table from the 80's. Lol. What I don't like is these non servo belt drive tables. I guess my ears r sensitive to speed/tone fluctuations.

This link has a pretty rational explanation as to why there aren't as many automatic turntables.

It also mentions an accessory that I had never heard of that picks up the arm when the end of the record is reached on many (but not compatible with all) turntables that are not automatic. It has good reviews at the needle doctor. It reportedly works with a TN-300 so it might work with TN-400S.

But it sucks to walk away the one time on a Friday and come back Sunday night and oh crap.... automatic is the only way to go for this guy.
