There are many different lines of Riedel products. Bravissimo is very low on the spectrum, but at this price I would say it makes phenomenal everyday drinkware. I bought the decanter last deal for $12.50 - and although it's not crystal, it's still high quality and thin while still feeling durable. The average person wouldn't think it was only a $10 decanter, especially if they are familiar with Riedel.

perhaps the product photos are just bad, but these look kinda.... cheap. as in 2.50 ea seems overpriced.

for comparison, costco b&m has leaded stemware at the same price point (8 for 20).


that being said, the folks getting them for $5 is more aligned with deal pricing.

Yeah i was on the fence as i just finished breaking the last of my gf's cheap wine glasses. And obviously thats no fun, but at $1.25 ea. Well go MAZELTOV every time now

People are just responding to the pictures, or their opinion on the durability of lead-free glass. Nobody has yet said anything negative about Riedel specifically.

These glasses aren't sold anywhere else from what I could gather last time. They're likely very low quality and brittle.

Riedel glasses are more pricey than $10....I have many of them in my cabinet and they are good. One downside is that they're not commercial quality.... they're more fragile than ones you'd find in a restaurant. The glass is thinner and they are pretty fancy. Just wash them by hand, store them properly, and you will be fine.

All my wine glasses are Riedel, and I love them.

This is their budget line, though, so I don't expect the same quality. Having said that, I did buy two sets (cabernet tumbler, red wine) for when I don't want to use my nicer glasses. $2.50 each is a great price.

Had these specific line of wine glasses. Brittle and thin, even with hand washing many ended up breaking within a few months time. I prefer the heavier leaded wine glasses as they are more durable and feel luxurious.
