I use my refillable kcup I bought from Walmart for $3 every day. Works great. Saves money, waste less plastic.

Ive wasted too much time trying DYI remidies, Im skipping spanking and just going straight to shotgunning it.

At this point buying a new one is just easier. These things are turning into american cars of the 90s disposable.

Yeah mine died earlier this year. We already had a bonvita 1.7 liter variable electric kettle for tea etc. And I had an oxo brew easy 4 cup French press.

I put the kettle on for 200. Drop 1 TBL spoon of French press ground coffee per cup in the French press in about a minute the water is at 200. Pour it in the French press, stir. Drop the top/screen on and let it steep for four minutes. Press it and pour and the coffee blows away the keurig. The French press cleans super easy with the silicone bottom tray. The kettle is more versatile and takes less room and the coffee is much better and less costly and less waste. I won't even look back.
