For those of you with newer vehicles which include built-in LTE, OnStar is offering UNLIMITED in-vehicle WiFi for $15/ month. (No tax, in NJ at least). Savings of $10/month (Unlimited is normally $25.) OnStar uses AT&T, so speeds MAY slow after hitting 22GBs. This will be a grandfathered special: it will stay at $15 until you cancel. Must sign up by 10/31/19.

You can also sign up by pushing your blue OnStar button in your vehicle and mentioning this promo.

Hi All,

These are the vehicles that have built-in hotspots available: https://www.att.com/plans/connected-car.html

If your vehicle's not on the list, you can use the AT&T Spark (add'l purchase) to plug in your vehicle's OBD port in order to get this deal.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

No thanks. I was burned by AT&Ts grandfathered promo for Directv Now. Had a clause that basically said they could raise the rate when they wanted to.
5G won't have as much coverage area as LTE because of higher frequency band. We will have spots for 5G initially and then slowly cover block, street, town, city, state, and then whole country. Don't think because you hear 5G a lot means we are there, it's a really long roadmap which will take at least 3-4 years.

This deal is not exclusive to GM vehicles. Also available on my Ford. Only $10/month for current AT&T subscribers.

Tempting but sounds way more beneficial for people who work in their cars/trucks or on the road very often.
