No thanks. I was burned by AT&Ts grandfathered promo for Directv Now. Had a clause that basically said they could raise the rate when they wanted to.

5G won't have as much coverage area as LTE because of higher frequency band. We will have spots for 5G initially and then slowly cover block, street, town, city, state, and then whole country. Don't think because you hear 5G a lot means we are there, it's a really long roadmap which will take at least 3-4 years.

Can anyone in TX comment on whether there are any extra fees/taxes on top of the $15/month?

Tempting but sounds way more beneficial for people who work in their cars/trucks or on the road very often.

Worked for my Honda Odyssey. Had the $20 unlimited plan, now it's $15. For those asking why you would need this. I have 4 kids under 10 years old. They use tablets, plus the car's entertainment system and a fire stick. Our T-mobile reception isn't great in a lot of areas. Hotspots on our iPhones are a bit glitchy. It's just so easy to have the car WiFi's. Also thinking of putting an echo dot in the van too. Lol

Do you have to keep the car engine running to get the WiFi? Wonder if I can use it in my garage for whole home wifi. What's the distance the signal covers?

Waiting on 5G. Will have to upgrade hardware soon anyway.
Pointless to wait for 5g for a car since it will only be available in cities and probably not on freeways as the range is so short.

You would have to keep your ignition on. This is basically a great way to have a dead battery while also having slow internet in your house.

$20 Mobley plan is superior. I can move it from car to car or use it without my car running or take it with me to go (with a wifi hotspot device). My plan has no cap or at least I didn't notice one.
Just that now it's difficult too start a new mobley connection, isn't it,?

I read it on the Mobley thread that AT&T is still activating new plans. Not totally impossible.

$100 for premium connectivity is cheaper. When it comes and price is rumored but should be within that range.

Why would you even consider this for Tesla since it's not even an option.
" 3mo.s maybe. six months sure" I'm still waiting. Also it's not wifi, just LTE access. I wish someone would figure out a way to share the built-in LTE thru bT etc.

Now all we need is cars to come built in with a Big tablet, either Apple or Android.
Tired of the outdated $3000 Navigation package.

Get a car or audio unit that's Car Play or Android Auto compatible.

But you will still need to plug in your phone to make it work.
