No thanks. I was burned by AT&Ts grandfathered promo for Directv Now. Had a clause that basically said they could raise the rate when they wanted to.

5G won't have as much coverage area as LTE because of higher frequency band. We will have spots for 5G initially and then slowly cover block, street, town, city, state, and then whole country. Don't think because you hear 5G a lot means we are there, it's a really long roadmap which will take at least 3-4 years.

This deal is not exclusive to GM vehicles. Also available on my Ford. Only $10/month for current AT&T subscribers.

How about using an OnStar FMV, that mounts on your review mirror.?

If it's an older car, but built 1996 or later, and built-in WiFi is a no-go, then you'd need to use AT&T's Spark to plug in your OBD port under the steering wheel area.

The current OnStar module as of my 2017 Volt uses an ancient LTE modem. It is *much* slower than the data on my phone. I guess this could be worth it if you are in your car a lot and don't need a lot of performance.

I was using unlimited plan $20/ MO on my Audi A6. Got charged on 3rd September for the month and then I noticed this plan. Just upgraded the plan in my audi connect, so it will be effective from next mo month, as this month's money has been deducted. But yes, it's included tax. And I have been using extensively.
Average 2-3 GB / days
what do you use in your car that needs 2gb-3gb/day

1440p p0rn bruh?

For me it was $10/month to add my Ford Explorer as a device to my 9GB Mobile Share Plus plan. Or $15/month for a separate Unlimited plan.

That's the one that was originally $25. Then they recently upped it to $30. A rep at Best Buy just told me they've heard through the grapevine it's now going up to $35!!!. No thank you.

I needed wifi anyway for a long trip and my vehicle was on the list -- was able to lock this deal in. The value of it over using a cellphone is especially helpful when you have kids because they can play movies in the back while you use your phone for Waze/Apple Music without a hotspot. The first time, on a long trip using hotspot, I heard more "it stopped working" than "working." I heard NONE with the in-car wifi. Totes worth it!
