My 2017 XLT had Sync Connect, my current 2019 Lariat has the Hotspot version so I just got this.
Only thing that stinks is we have a 2019 Escape with the hotspot and I considered adding it to that as well thinking it would be $10/mo since I now have the $15/mo primary, but it shows it would also be $15/mo. Not sure we need it that bad on the Escape as well.

These are the vehicles that have built-in hotspots available: https://www.att.com/plans/connected-car.html
If your vehicle's not on the list, you can use the AT&T Spark (add'l purchase) to plug in your vehicle's OBD port in order to get this deal.
I just use my Hotspot on my phone if i need wifi connectivity and i have a Tablet i pay 10 and month to be on my unlimited data plan.
Is it because i could just use my apps on entertainment unit (Like MyLink) without using my phone? Not saying it's a bad deal but what is the main use for using built in wifi, enlighten me.
Or can I order this, take out the SIM to put in my AT&T Netgear mobile hotspot device?
