No thanks. I was burned by AT&Ts grandfathered promo for Directv Now. Had a clause that basically said they could raise the rate when they wanted to.

5G won't have as much coverage area as LTE because of higher frequency band. We will have spots for 5G initially and then slowly cover block, street, town, city, state, and then whole country. Don't think because you hear 5G a lot means we are there, it's a really long roadmap which will take at least 3-4 years.

Ok I am confused. Why would we need this if we have phones with us? Does this get signal where phones don't? If not, then what is the use of this?

EDIT - oh is this to make the car connected 24x7 so that we can remotely communicate with the car (such as remote start stop etc...) ?

Subaru doesn't use OnStar. It has an equivalent Starlink but Starlink offers AT&T data plan for their in-car wireless modem also.
Yes, certain 2018 and newer Subaru models have that option...

Why would i settle for all these restrictions at home where i need max internet coverage?
Max 7 users, 22G bandwidth etc etc!
Because it's $15/month for unlimited speed and data. What home internet do you have that's $15/month with no speed or data cap? Please share.

I wanted to know the answer too. Loos like the only way to find out is to visit a local ATT corporate store?
After the initial deal, our Mobley's plan increased to 23.XX something and wondering what are you paying now?

Mine will work with the Spark device, but it's saying $30/mo. Is there a trick to getting $15? or am I SOL since it's a Ford and needs the plugin?

Perfect timing. Worked for my Subaru Ascent that I was already planning to add to our unlimited data plan.

if you buy one of these adapters you can have it plugged into any ac outlet and it simulates being inside a car.

For me it was $10/month to add my Ford Explorer as a device to my 9GB Mobile Share Plus plan. Or $15/month for a separate Unlimited plan.
If you are already an ATT member, can you add an OBD Spark device for that same $15 per month, or is any Spark device charged at the higher $30 per month rate that others are quoting?

Anybody know?

Tried to sign up for this as an ATT current wireless subscriber. I am on a 9GB shared plan, it was $10 a month to add, but it made it sound like it wasn't unlimited and was part of the 9GB plan which would defeat the purpose of it. Can someone confirm it is unlimited EVEN is you are adding it to a capped GB shared plan?
