No thanks. I was burned by AT&Ts grandfathered promo for Directv Now. Had a clause that basically said they could raise the rate when they wanted to.

5G won't have as much coverage area as LTE because of higher frequency band. We will have spots for 5G initially and then slowly cover block, street, town, city, state, and then whole country. Don't think because you hear 5G a lot means we are there, it's a really long roadmap which will take at least 3-4 years.

Because it's $15/month for unlimited speed and data. What home internet do you have that's $15/month with no speed or data cap? Please share.
22G of data for a home network is a joke and add to that the 7 device limit. Wasting $15 on a pretty much useless service is $15 wasted

I think this is well worth the $15. An XM radio subscription alone is the same price. This allows you to link kids' devices, work out of your car, have better reach than a phone antenna, and stream audio through other apps like Pandora, and no tax is a plus over using a regular carrier account. For those who do not have unlimited data on their cell plan, this is a cheaper option than anything I have seen! If you live 5 minutes from work and never travel with family, this deal is not for you.

Sorry, No compatible products at this time. (For 2019 Tesla)
Hmm, happy I checked. My 2015 Tesla Model S is covered! The included ATT service is terrible, wonder if this would help....

Tempting but sounds way more beneficial for people who work in their cars/trucks or on the road very often.
Or devices that don't have native LTE support (tabs, laptops, chromebooks). Makes a long drive with kids much easier and when on the road, at the beach, at the park and hiking where there aren't any wifi hotspots.

I have one of those older at&t connected car thingies, put the sim chip in a battery powered pocket size access point and all day I *am* a hotspot. Don't even need a phone data plan. Combined with my $1.35 xfinity mobile equipped phone I get unlimited calls and texts on verizon and unlimited at&t data for ~$24.

I get VIN not found message while signing up although compatibility check shows my car equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.

So far few people have experienced any throttling even after 300-400GB of use per month. I've had the at&t connected car with the sim stuck in a portable hotspot for 2 years and never seen throttling. Maybe if you're in a dense urban area at a time lots of people are using their mobile data.

Is everyone looking at the same thing I am? This looks like an OBD2 plug that records your driving.

I'm a very techy guy but I don't understand why i would need this or others.
I just use my Hotspot on my phone if i need wifi connectivity and i have a Tablet i pay 10 and month to be on my unlimited data plan.

Is it because i could just use my apps on entertainment unit (Like MyLink) without using my phone? Not saying it's a bad deal but what is the main use for using built in wifi, enlighten me.
Let's say you are with a provider who had a sloppy service you could use this as an Hotspot. I do not see the need otherwise

Harman Spark is exactly that. It connects to OBD2 plug and records and GPS tracks your driving (and God knows how that data is used) and possibly more. Here is a description from Harman: "Keep a record of the details of your trips, including time and mileage, and get information on your driving habits such as speed insights, hard braking & acceleration, and more." Wireless service, which is the main benefit for many, added to THAT service, if you are getting this via Spark OBD2.
