I plan to rebuild the deck this winter, but cannot decide to purchase this set of Milwaukee M18 Fuel combo or wait for a DeWalt Max RX combo in the BF/Cyber Monday. Any suggestions? Thanks.

To be fair, and I'm sure you already know this, but you could rebuild a deck with any solid set of drills/drivers. M18 fuel has so much power; if the DeWalt product you mention is even more powerful, I'm sure it's way more juice than you will ever need.
I have the latest gen M12 fuel hammer drill and it has way more power than my 5 year old brushed Makita 18v hammer drill.
This or the Ridgid Octane set with 2 free tools deal that is back online at home depot? Lifetime warranty is pretty tempting but so is this Milwaukee set at this price point.

Got the set this week. Neither battery would charge. I called and they are sending 2 replacement batteries. I asked if they thought it might be the charger but the person said it's a known issue with the batteries. I'm not sure I believe that. Will try the new batteries when the get here.
