I'm starting a new thread since the existing one is for new line or port in.
I called Xfinity mobile customer care to ask if they are offering any promotion to existing customers to upgrade to latest iPhone 11 phones and I was informed, in no uncertain terms , that I'm eligible for $250 Visa card if I were to buy a new iPhone 11 (Max or otherwise). He even read some written promotion to confirm when I told him I was suspicious of that offer. I even pointed out their website states that a new line or a port in is required... but I was informed that is not required.
The only requirement is I will have to buy the phone at a local Xfinity store.
Recommended: Place your order for the new iPhones on or after September 20th, 2019 *IN STORE ONLY*
Try your luck at your local store. YMMV.

1. The YMMV deal OP listed [xfinity.com] is for existing customers upgrading to an iPhone 11. This deal currently does not include the iPhone 11 and has not been confirmed. Does not apply to pre-orders and only applies to in-store stock, of which no iPhone 11s exist yet. Basically OPs deal cannot be confirmed until Sept 20th at the earliest when phones start shipping.
2. The standard new line deal is for anyone who activates a new line and transfers their number.

I specifically asked him about the port-in requirement on their website, and he said, yes, that's for online purchases only.
Phones are locked to Xfinity Mobile, but can be unlocked after just 30 days (and paid in full).
I'll be cancelling my Apple Store order & headed to an Xfinity store this week.

$250 promotional offer is available in store only. You can go in store and pre-order but you will need to return to the store to pick up the phone when its available. You can activate in store or over the phone.
When you purchase the phone in store as a pre-order you will receive your sim card.
Bring it with you when you return for the phone and to activate it.
Your existing phone must be at least 50% paid off to qualify. If it is 100% paid off you get to keep it. Less than that and you turn it in to Xfinity.
If you get to keep your phone you can get a trade in value on it or just keep it. Only one phone can be traded toward a new phone purchase.
In Store $250 offer for existing customers ends September 30th. Purchase must be made before then and activated within 30 days. Account must remain in good standing for 90 days.
$1449 +$113 in tax = $1562
less $250
$1312 for new phone. Are there any other fees and how long we need to be on plan to unlock and leave?
