I'm starting a new thread since the existing one is for new line or port in.

I called Xfinity mobile customer care to ask if they are offering any promotion to existing customers to upgrade to latest iPhone 11 phones and I was informed, in no uncertain terms , that I'm eligible for $250 Visa card if I were to buy a new iPhone 11 (Max or otherwise). He even read some written promotion to confirm when I told him I was suspicious of that offer. I even pointed out their website states that a new line or a port in is required... but I was informed that is not required.

The only requirement is I will have to buy the phone at a local Xfinity store.

Recommended: Place your order for the new iPhones on or after September 20th, 2019 *IN STORE ONLY*

If you activated the new sim on your daughters old 5s wouldn't that void your rebate card? I thought it was said that the new sim needs to be activated on the iphone 11 as the imei is matached with it or something along the lines...

Yes, new sim has to be activated on iPhone 11, once its activated, you can either keep sim inside drawer or use in other device, but activation has to be done on the IMEI given for Activation

No one knows for sure. Time will tell. I just know in my xfinity account it shows the iphone 11 is active

Can anyone who has upgraded, check your XM account online (desktop browser) and then select "billing" link, then scroll down to "Orders" and click on the order you placed for the upgraded phone.

Does yours say "This is a replacement device" under the phone information line item? Wondering if it should say something like "upgrade..." instead.

This device is a replacement is what mine says. What is it that you're worried about?

Got 11 pro midnight green this morning. I had already paid off my previous device so I was good to go on this one, with the $250 card.

Just make sure that the card you have on file is what you want to use for this purchase. I meant to tell the agent and apparently must have forgotten, and he must not have asked. If you want it on a different card they have to process it as a return and charge you a restocking fee......which, actually, now that I think of it, is ridiculous if it isn't opened.

Great. Thanks for checking. I was concerned that the upgrade wasn't entered correctly and it was supposed to say "device upgrade" or something like that. Fingers crossed for the rebate!

Went yesterday and they were OOS for midnight green 256 pro. Should arrive in 2-3 business days. My acct also says replacement device for the new phone.

Just back from my local xfinity store unsuccessful. Below are what they said:
1. This upgrade promotion for existing XM customers is regional not nationwide.
2. It's not available in Sacramento area.

updates after calling XM customer service:

the lady confirmed this upgrade promotion is nationwide, and the suggestion her supervisor provided to me is I can go buy the phone and call them back, they will then issue a ticket to claim the $250 prepaid card for me.

latest update:
the store processed my order with $250 prepaid card claimed after they saw the notes the customer services put on my account. they said the prepaid card information should be in the system within 24 hours, I can check/track it online by Monday.
