My mom has an Amazon account that she never uses except once in awhile when she needs something she has me order it for her on her account with her Amazon Visa creditcard.A couple months ago Amazon took it upon themselves to susbscribe my mom to Amazon prime. They also charged her for a movie rental that she never rented. My mom and dad do nothing with computers (my dad used to but hes too old now),they also don't have the Amazon app on their TV.
We let the Amazon prime subscripion go since it was only a trial, but my mom had to pay for the movie that we tossed up as a mistake of Amazons but to be on the safe side we changed her phone number and password on the account. After that I kept a close eye on her account for her.We cancelled the Amazon prime before the trial was over, got confirmation of it and everything was fine.
Now yesterday,Amazon DID IT AGAIN!
They subscribed her to Amazon Prime when she never even requested it.This time they charged her creditcard. I found out today and immediately cancelled, and it said she should recieve a refund but does anyone know why Amazon keeps subscribing her to prime when she never even requested it? I could not find a phone # to call a customer service rep. about a prime issue.

Of course she could have mistakenly clicked some wrong button. Anyone could have.
Get her credit card # and add it to your account.

It happened to me a couple of years ago. My husband has prime but shares it with my account.
Once a month for a couple of months, they kept charging me for prime. I would just cancel it every time it happened. I do have my credit cards setup so that every time a charge happens on my card, I automatically get a text. So every time they charged me, I knew immediately and was able to cancel it on the spot.

Find any contact email, phone number or chat on their site. Explain the problem & they will take care of it or connect you with someone who can.

Only issue I have had is I have Prime setup to auto renew. A few years ago for some reason they changed the default credit card from mine to hers and then charged the Prime fee to her card.
