Word of advise ... .... go on the T-Mobile website and do a mock upgrade and trade-in !!
It will ask for Imei and right away say if it's cleared and eligible . ...

From T-Mobile Website for trade in
It's good (all below are true)

• Device powers on
• No liquid damage
• No screen damage
• "Find my iPhone" is turned off
Phone must be financially paid off. It can be network locked, any carrier is fine. Clean imei/esn.
must not be iCloud locked.

----------------------------------------------
Also since I'm noticing a lot of repeat questions:

You CANNOT combine with these offers #GETOUTOFTHERED #CARRIERFREEDOM

T-mobile won't pay off your exisiting EIP/LEASE from another carrier and then let you trade it in for $700/$1000.

Also to note.**Even though the website doesn't reflect hte 11 PRO MAX it's also on the list for the trade in discount. *You should re-confirm with T-FORCE* prior to ordering.

FINE PRINT:

Get iPhone 11 On Us when you switch.

Via 24 monthly bill credits with a qualifying iPhone trade-in.

If you cancel your line before receiving 24 bill credits, credits stop and remaining balance at full price is due; if cancelling your account, you can contact us first to instead make discounted monthly balance payments. Tax on pre-credit price due at sale. Limited time offer; subject to change. Participating locations only. Qualifying service, port-in, trade in, & finance agreement required. iPhone 11 (64GB): $0 down + $29.17/mo. x 24, pre-credit price: $699.99. 0% APR. Device pricing shown for most creditworthy customers; amounts for others will vary. If you have canceled voice lines in past 90 days, reactivate them first. $10 SIM card, and, in stores & on customer service calls, $20 assisted or upgrade support charge may be required. One offer per account. Up to $1000 via trade-in credit and monthly bill credits; must be active and in good standing to receive credits; allow 2 bill cycles. May not be combinable with some offers or discounts (e.g., Carrier Freedom).

---------------------------------------------------------------
TO AVOID SERVICE FEES:
1. Log into your t-mobile account, and order online. There are a section where they will validate your trade-in imei...etc, decent process.
OR
2. DM via twitter to @T-Mobile Help ... each DM message will take 20-30 minutes for them to reply and my new line w/iphone purchase took about 1 hour and 45 minutes to create. YMMV depending on how busy they are.
OR
3. POSSIBILITY stacking additional REDBOX1 $150 rebate + no fees....they are 3rd party tmo sales....if qualify, their rebate could take as long as 6 months....please reverify if your plan qualify

If I can purchase a 6S for ~$140 and trade it in for $1000 the its worth

Big question will be if it'll work with the older SC plans Big Grin

doubt the Costco accepting a 6 will ever come back but you never know.
My advice, buy a cheap 6s asap and not hold out a slim chance of their being a deal for a regular 6.

It's implied in "over 24 months".

Dang, I got all excited when I received the notification. I have three family members who will be porting in numbers to new accounts over the next few days and I'd like to help them get some kind of new customer/line deal, but they don't have iPhones to trade in.
