Today they still have the buy 2 lines get 3rd line free promo going on (tax included). It basically turns out to be $35 a line. So my total bill monthly for 4 lines is $140.
Bought the Magenta Plan which is currently today $35 a line.
$35 x 3 = $140
I only get 3 gift cards since the 4th line is a brand new line and not a switch. So $450 gift cards coming my way in 8 to 12 weeks.
Also they tacked on $30 per sim card. With tax my credit card was charged a total of $123.72.

The $30 might have actually been an activation fee.
edit: There is a $10 SIM card fee listed on T-Mobile's website (at least for some plans). I also saw this: "in stores & on customer service calls, $20 assisted or upgrade support charge may be required". Of course, reps always have the option of ignoring or waving any fee but that second fee is some BULL.
It covers remaining device payments too, but you'll have to give your device to T-Mobile.
