what is the monthly monitoring cost? Is the system useless without paid monitoring?

Monthly monitoring is $14.95 for their basic plan or $24.95 for the premium. Main difference is the premium plan allows you to arm and disarm through the app. System can be used without the monitoring service... the siren will go off, but that is alll that will happen.

Thanks, it seems without monitoring I'm better off just getting a few more wyze cameras around the house Stick Out Tongue
I do see the value in monitoring for some in that the system has battery and cellular backup.

Awesome thx! I am also looking for smart Lock. Do we have expert here? Can I get a Google/Alexa enabled smart Lock to work with this?

Decent deal but please keep in mind that this system can be bypassed with a simple 2.4 ghz signal jammer that you can create with instructions freely available on the web or just buy it from a security store.
