Lumberjack is my favorite brand of pellets. I have used them exclusively in my pellet grill for a few years now.

I use them every day in my Traeger and they burn better than their pellets. Smaller so they feed better through the auger. I buy in bulk and store inside. Never had an issue.

I have a traeger and never use traeger brand pellets, too much for too little. I use GMG mostly but do experiment with other food grade brands. In for 3 bags

I love pellets. My husband won't let me turn on the heat ever so I rely on pellets.

This brand of pellets is highly regarded in the pellet community. Use them with any brand pellet grill. I like the 100% varieties over the blends but thats just me. I have used them with Camp Chef, Rec Tec, Grilla Grills.

These are the best pellets I have used. Apple and competition blend are my favorites. Pit maintains and gets to temperature noticeably faster than another brand I have tried.

Im not a fan of their blends, too much filler wood. But the hickory charcoal mix looks interesting, I just wish I didnt have to buy 3 bags to get them shipped

I've been getting mine from Sam's. 40lb for 14.99 but I'll give these a try. In for a hickory, competition, and an apple.

These are 20 lb bags, so you're paying about $20 for 40 lbs, which is pretty much a standard, non-sale price for pellets. This is hardly a slick deal.

Its wood. Typically, if you keep wood dry, it will not go bad and will be fine for years and years. Saying that, these pellets tend to crumble over time, so I would suggest NOT buying years and years worth unless you have a good storage spot for it where you won't have to move it around a lot.... These are much better pellet than anything Traeger puts their name on, and will work better than the Traeger branded pellets in your Traeger.

The pellets at Sams are made by Little Chef, and are alder based hardwood blends instead of true 100% hardwood pellets.
For example, the Lumberjack 100% hickory is 100% hickory, nothing else.
The Smokehouse pellets from Sams all have an alder base, and then have some of the other 'flavored' woods blended in. So the Smokehouse 100% hickory is actually more alder than hickory. 70% alder 30% hickory. Their competition blend is 70% alder/oak and only 10% of each hickory, maple, and cherry. Lumberjack is 100% hickory. or 100% apple, etc.. So while the Sams pellets are cheaper, its apples to oranges as they are a lesser pellet to begin with.
