2. How to Redeem Your Offer

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

Should I port my number in or get a new number? I would want my mint number on my phone. I already have a google voice number. I'm trying to transition people to google voice but iMessage is easie. I often forget to use the GV app for texting

all plans should qualify. for simple choice the costco rep has to call t-mobile with a "token" code to add the line as their system doesn't allow it.

so the guy from csotco says he needs to set it up with the new phone and so i assume you let him do that.. then when you got home you popped out the new sim. put in the old sim so you could use your number. then used the new sim for another phone you had or would buy in your family...do i have this right?
Even taking into account that I'd have to switch to T-Mobile for two months and pay $60/month, that's only an extra $50 in total compared to what I'd be paying anyways for service. Leaving me with the cost of $170 total for a brand new iPhone 11.
What am I missing? This seems to be too good to be true for my 6s!
