2. How to Redeem Your Offer

2. Trade-in an eligible device.

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

I have jumped on this deal last year, I ported out my number exactly on 91st day. No one ever contacted me to return any rebate.

I have the SC plan that got upgraded to the Unlmtd Data plan in the summer.
Unless someone got some special authorization on their Simple Choice plan, it's probably a no since our plans (SC) don't make them money like they used to when adding lines (currently $10 month).
He said they only had the 64GB iphone 11 in stock either black or white but one thing that raised a Flag for me was that the girl said they DO NOT enter the IMEI of the traded phone ANYWHERE in the process.. WE have to go to the TMO Site and get that information in and mail the phone using a CODE!
Does that make any sense or is it you guys experience in the process??
I don't want to be denied the rebate because they didn't enter my trade in info on the TMO System.. leaving this up to me ..
More details on this would be appreciated as I don't have the iphone 6s at hand yet to proceed.. I just want to make sure these reps don't screw my rebate ( GC)
Also, they said that another PROMO for the iphones will probably follow this one.. maybe better as far as the rebate on TMO?
Oh, Also they said there's an activation fee because they sell the iphone 11 -64gb discounted by $50 compared to the apple store for example-- She pointed at $699 for the phone at Costco
SO my calculations on price after rebate and taxes and trade in would be: Initial price of the iphone 11 64 gb plus FLA Tax $749 --- $40 for the trade in 6s - two months of Magenta 55+--- $60 ( 100 but discounted w the tarde in) then the GCard--- $540 (580-40 credit for trade in 6s) My total for the phone and 2 months of Service would be $229 and I'm free to leave??
